Report: Eagles Prime Candidate To Play In London

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- How would you feel about the Eagles playing a regular season game in London?

According to SI.com's Peter King, the NFL has discussed plans for the 2015 schedule of London games. "The league's international committee has reps from nine teams, six of which have played in the International Series, and three that have not: Chiefs (Clark Hunt is the committee's chair), Bills and Eagles," King wrote. "Those teams will be prime candidates in 2015."

Last Sunday, the Miami Dolphins beat the Oakland Raiders in London, while the Lions vs. Falcons and Cowboys vs. Jaguars will also play in London this season. The Jags have already committed to a four-year agreement in the International Series, making them a "home team" in London for one game in each season through 2016.

"The NFL has steadily built up its presence in the U.K. since the first International Series game in 2007, and [Mark] Waller [the NFL's executive vice president of international] believes the league will have a team in London in seven to eight years."
