Report: Nelson Agholor To Be Inactive, Paul Turner To Dress Against Packers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- No NFL wide receiver is struggling more than Nelson Agholor, who "can't get out of his own head."

According to Ian Rapoport, the Eagles will limit snaps for Agholor and may even deactivate the second-year receiver for Monday night's game against the Green Bay Packers.

That means, according to Rapoport, the Eagles will use Jordan Matthews outside more and undrafted rookie receiver Paul Turner in the slot.

Turner, 23, was activated from the practice squad last Monday, but Pederson said he wasn't positive Turner would be active vs. the Packers.

Just hours before game time, on Monday afternoon, Howard Eskin reported that Agholor would indeed be inactive for the game and that Turner would be dressing.

In 23 career games, Agholor has just 50 catches for 547 yards and two touchdowns. His 547 receiving yards is worst among NFL starting receivers since the start of the 2015 season.
