Preview Podcast: Packers At Eagles

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles will play one of their biggest games of the season tonight as they welcome the Green Bay Packers to the Linc.

Philadelphia is 5-5 heading into this one and they really need a win to keep pace in the NFC playoff race. The Packers come to town with a record of 4-6 and they have lost their last four games.

The Eagles have really struggled on the road this season (1-5) and last week they lost in Seattle, 26-15. But they have been a completely different team at the Linc. The Eagles are 4-0 at home coming into tonight and in those four wins they have allowed a total of just three touchdowns and 38 points.

Green Bay still has QB Aaron Rodgers and several talented wide receivers, but they have struggled to run the ball and their defense has been terrible as of late. During their current four-game losing streak, the Packers are allowing an alarming 38.3 ppg.

On the injury front, the Eagles will be without running back Ryan Mathews and tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai. Both players are dealing with knee injuries.

The Eagles and Packers last played in the regular season back on November 16th, 2014 at Lambeau Field. Green Bay rolled that day, winning 53-20.
