PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Jim Schwartz gave the most entertaining Eagles press conference since Chip Kelly was here.

When asked about Nigel Bradham — who was arrested during the bye week for putting a loaded gun through the x-ray machine at Miami Interntional airport — Schwartz went off.

“Facts are facts. You do dumbass things pretty soon you’re going to be labeled a dumbass,” Schwartz said of Bradham on Thursday. “And he’s got a lot of ground to make it because it’s not just him — it’s the rest of us also. It’s everybody that wears that helmet, all the people in the organization. He represents not just himself, he represents everybody. He’s got some ground to make up that way. He’s gotta earn some trust back.”

Bradham, who was reportedly charged for aggravated assault for an incident in July, told reporters on Wednesday that he expects to hear from the league over his more recent arrest.

Schwartz was also asked about potentially pursuing another head coaching gig and deflected saying, “I’m just trying to stay off the hot seat.”
