PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has been arrested in Miami, according to TMZ Sports.
Bradham was reportedly arrested on a second degree concealed weapons charge and released from custody later on bond. According to the report, Bradham put a loaded firearm through the x-ray machine at Miami Interntional airport, forgetting it was in his bag.
Bradham reportedly showed officials his concealed weapons permits and officials said “it was clear that there was no criminal intent on his part,” but he is still out on bond from an alleged assault case. In July, Bradham was arrested after allegedly assaulting a hotel employee and is scheduled for a hearing this week regarding that matter.
The Eagles have issued a statement saying they are aware of the report and they have been in “communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the sitation.”
The 27-year-old linebacker has 10 tackles and an interception in three games with the Eagles this season.
