Report: Nigel Bradham Charged With Aggravated Battery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- What an awful week for Nigel Bradham.
A day after the news broke that Bradham was repotedly arrested in Miami last week, the Eagles' linebacker has been charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm -- a second degree felony -- for punching a hotel employee in July according to TMZ.
The July incident also took place in Miami. Bradham has pled not guilty, but could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted according to the report.
Last week, Bradham was arrested on a second degree concealed weapons charge and released from custody later on bond. Bradham reportedly put a loaded firearm through the x-ray machine at Miami Interntional airport, forgetting it was in his bag.
"Obviously my messaging the week before is, 'be smart, be careful, protect each other away from the building,'" Eagles coach DPederson said on Wednesday, regarding Bradham's most recent arrest at Miami International airport. "Obviously it was away from here. Guys have got to make better decisions when they're away from the building. It's unfortunate. It's obviously out of my hands now. It's a legal matter, but you've just got to use your head and be smart in those situations."
Bradham says he knows he may hear from the NFL.
The 27-year-old linebacker has 10 tackles and an interception in three games with the Eagles this season.
