Donald Trump Rips The DNC For Paying 'Zero Respect To Police'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Donald Trump is going after the Democratic National Convention on Twitter Wednesday morning.

He says the DNC "has paid ZERO respect to the great police and law enforcement professionals of our country."

He continued, "No recognition- SAD!"

mothers of the movement

Last night, 'Mothers of the Movement' took the stage to endorse Hillary Clinton.

The group of women have been impacted by the loss of their children, and have prompted serious conversations about the relationship between black people and law enforcement in America.

Lucia MacBeth, mother of Jordan Davis, said on stage of Clinton, "She isn't afraid to say that black lives matter. She isn't afraid to sit at a table with grieving mothers and bear the full force of our anguish. She doesn't build walls around her heart. Not only did she listen to our problems, she invited us to become a part of the solution."

Yesterday, thousands of protesters marched for several causes in Philadelphia, including the Black Lives Matter movement.

Some were joined by actress Ashley Judd.

"I was on my way to the criminal justice reform panel at truth to power and rock the vote and this is the most perfect and poetic diversion," she said.
