What's Cooking on 1060: The Oscars, Heart Healthy Recipes, and Margarita Day

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On February 22nd, the restaurant Distrito, at 40th and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia, celebrates National Margarita Day with happy hour specials and drinks incorporating expensive tequilas.

"We're also offering a special $50 margarita made from Herradura Selección Suprema, with proceeds going to benefit the Garces Family Foundation," says beverage manager Chris Mann (top photo).

Meanwhile, 10 Arts chef de cuisine Nathan Volz (right) is getting ready for an Oscars viewing party at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Broad and Chestnut Streets in center city, on Sunday, February 24th.  What's on the menu?

"For this kind of event, a lot of people are really dressed up, they're out in their best for the night, so we try to do light finger foods that fit the fashion," he says.

And as we recover from Valentine's Day, Max Hansen of Max Hansen Caterers in Doylestown, Pa. celebrates the Heart Healthy Month of February by highlighting his signature smoked salmon.
