Weekend Phillyfun Picks For Kids -- September 5-7, 2014

It's the first weekend of September (did you survive back to school?!) There is much to do to celebrate this weekend with the whole family! Check out everything from fun festivals to great free museum admission and celebrations of the new Dilworth Park and so much more.

The 2014 Philadelphia Honey Festival is taking place at historic landmarks and other locations throughout Philadelphia this Friday, September 5th through Sunday, September 7th. On Saturday, September 6th bring the whole family out to Wyck Historic House, Garden, and Farm for free admission to the museum, plus great children's activities, open hive viewing and more! Then on Sunday, September 7th head to Philly's Bartram Gardens from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. for more honey bee fun including a Be-a-Bee pageant, Children's Bee parade and lots more. Free.
