"Oscar"

We quote him all the time, but few know all that much about the life of Oscar Wilde. Now, Opera Philadelphia brings this production to the Academy of Music as part of its 40th season. The play focuses on the end of Wilde's life, when he was tried and imprisoned for being a homosexual -- which was illegal in England at the time -- and it starts tonight and runs through mid-February.
