8 a.m. – 5 p.m., pay as you go

Reading Terminal's 25th Pennsylvania Dutch Fest kicks off today and runs through Sunday. Stop by for Dutch treats (Apple dumplings! Pork sausage sandwiches!), crafts and more, all in celebration of this unique community.

Pairings on the Parkway


5 – 8 p.m., pay as you go

Grab a bottle of wine or your favorite beer and spend the night in Sister Cities Park, where goodies and barbecue will be available for pairing with your beverage. Plus, expect live music from 5:30-7:30 p.m. – this week, it's Nelly's Echo.

Thursday Night Concerts


6:30 – 7:30 p.m., price varies

Head to picturesque Morris Arboretum for the first of 2014's Thursday night concerts. Each performance is an hour long and family-friendly, and guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair and a picnic.
