MilkBoy started to grow its local roots back in 1994, and has since become a Philadelphia institution. With a bar and a beefy PA system, it is the place to experience great hospitality and great music. The downstairs menu is “made-from-scratch,” with a killer selection of draft and canned beer.  The music venue upstairs sports standing room space for 200, a full bar and a 6,000-watt Clair Brothers PA system. What more could a music lover ask for?

Friday is Ladies Night with cumbia, merengue, mambo, regetton and bachata music. Saturday is Bachata Night, where you can hear a diverse mix of Latin styles, including salsa. Need another reason to go? Sabor sometimes holds contests with prizes for Bachata Night.

When your day is winding down, you know it’s time to kick it up a few notches at Sandbar for their weekly Latin Night. Work off Sandbar’s Cuban/Caribbean fusion menu with a full evening of dancing and Latin grooves. If you need more dancing, stop by on Friday or Saturday nights for DJ dance parties from 10 p.m. to close and cool off on the large upstairs patio.

Friday nights at Savoy merge many nightclub-goers’ two favorite specials nights: Latin Night and Ladies Night. Savoy is the place for Latin Music and the recipient of the “Best Nightclub” for the 2010 Hispanic Choice Awards. Ladies get in for free before 10 p.m., but after 10 p.m. there is a $10 cover charge. DJ Rumbero, Richie Hernandez will be spinning the hits in the “Salsa Room” and keeping you dancing all night, so take a short trip to come on out and dance the night away. Remember to dress to impress–you’ll be turned away at the door if you come dressed in t-shirts, baggy clothes or hoodies.
