The Racquet and Social Club offers squash, court tennis and racquets. The majority of the club members are serious racquet sport enthusiasts, but others enjoy the social environment of a private club with spa alternatives. The club committee looks for members who fit into the mix of its long-standing members. In addition to its racquet court facilities, the club also has a swimming pool and fitness center, and hosts events such as the popular Tavern Tour, in which club members travel by trolley to the Philadelphia Brewing Co. and visit several of Philadelphia’s landmark pubs.
