Gas prices have been rising leading up to Memorial Day weekend, according to Triple-A Mid-Atlantic. But they say that won’t stop more than 400,000 Philadelphia-area residents from hitting the road.

Spring is just a few days away, and according to Triple-A Mid-Atlantic, drivers have never paid this much at the pump to start the season.
According to Triple-A, the average cost of a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.66 in the five county Philadelphia area. That’s ten-cents more than the national average.
