More Than 1 Million Smoke Alarms Recalled

More than one million Kidde hard-wired smoke and combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarms have been recalled because they could fail following a power outage, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday.

Phila. Fire Department Gets $$ For Smoke Alarms For Deaf Residents

For the second time this week, the Philadelphia Fire Department has gotten a nice donation for smoke detectors. But this time, it’s for people who can’t hear the regular ones.
