An investigation revealed that a 28-year-old female and her 11-month-old baby were sleeping in the master bedroom when two subjects – one armed with a handgun – forced their way into the home and confronted the woman in the bedroom.
Police say no one was injured, but the bullets struck the windows of the Philadelphia Fire Department’s station on Hart Lane at Boudinot Street.
A city of Wilmington 911 operator was arrested after it was revealed she tipped off a suspect that police had been called.
The incident happened at about 7:50 p.m. on the 1300 block of Wells Street.
The incident reportedly happened during a dispute between the former owner of the Mamajuana Kitchen, located at 277 E County Line Road in Hatboro, and the new owner.
Three men are in police custody after a standoff in Delaware County early Thursday morning.
