West Chester senior running back Rondell White has been named one of nine finalists for the Harlon Hill Award, which is the Division II’s version of the Heisman Trophy.
In 2012, Division II West Chester University bounced back from back-to-back losing seasons, putting together a solid 7-4 campaign. However, the Golden Rams were literally a couple of plays away from a couple of more wins and a return to the post-season.
One of the best running backs on the local scene early in the college football season has been Division II West Chester junior Rondell White.
Their 4-7 record in 2010 represented the first time the Golden Rams finished under .500 since 2002. It was also the first losing season in Bill Zwaan’s 14 years as a collegiate head coach.
