Study Says Redesign And Expansion Of Penn’s Landing Would Generate More Than $1B

A new feasibility study released Friday by the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation claimed a re-design and expansion of Penn’s Landing would generate over $1.3 billion in economic growth in Philadelphia, at the cost of $250 million in investment.

Floating Park Among Summer Plans For Penn’s Landing

The temporary park will include a boardwalk, an “urban beach,” lily pad water gardens, a pop-up restaurant and bar and nets that will allow guests to literally hang out on the water.
