Nearly 2,000 city workers got an unexpected day off today after a burst water pipe forced the closure of their Center City office tower.
The City of Philadelphia is hoping to give away more than 2000 free trees over the next few weeks as part of an ongoing effort to make Philadelphia the city of “arborly love.”
The program is available for any child or teen in Philadelphia up to age 18.
