Brown, Harang Lead Phillies Past Braves 4-1

Domonic Brown homered and Aaron Harang snapped his losing streak at eight starts, leading the Philadelphia Phillies to a 4-1 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night.

Phillies Defeat Blue Jays 3-2

The Philadelphia Phillies won their first game after trading All-Star closer Jonathan Papelbon to Washington, beating the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2 Tuesday night for their ninth victory in 10 games since the All-Star break.
