Three men who pleaded guilty to beating a Phillies fan to death, outside the ballpark in 2009 have been sentenced. The altercation followed spilled drinks in a crowded bar, and there were running alcohol-fueled brawls that ended in the parking lot.
Common Pleas Judge Shelly Robins New declared a mistrial in the case against the three charged in the beating death of 22-year-old David Sale of Lansdale, Pa., and has scheduled a hearing for Wednesday to set a date for a retrial.
