Hanging upside down, stuck in her seat belt, Murphy told CBS 3’s Walt Hunter, in an exclusive interview, she feared at any moment her SUV might burst into flames or be pushed into a ravine along the road by another vehicle skidding in the darkness.
“It was the courage of one ten-year-old girl who started this investigation,” DA Tom Hogan added. “This is one of the most disturbing child abuse cases in the history of Chester County.”
Police are investigating a deadly accident in Chester County Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 5:50 a.m. Friday in West Fallowfield on Route 41 near Highland Road.
There is no word on when the road will reopen.

PECO is hoping to have all power restored by the end of Tuesday. As of Tuesday morning, a little under 2,000 remained without power.
Now, attention is shifting to our next winter storm.

Emergency management crews in Chester County are encouraging folks without power to keep themselves safe while power outages persist.
Good idea: Using a generator to power a traffic signal in a town left powerless by the ice storm. Bad idea: Trying to steal that generator and attempting to cover up the crime.
The “Angels” named for their bright orange safety attire, are actually State Gamelands Maintenance Supervisors, specially trained using chainsaws to help clear state game preserves.
