“Everybody seemed refreshed, happy to be back, excited,” says quarterback Michael Vick.
“I thought they did a very nice job of preparation and they showed a lot of emotion throughout the game,” Reid said of his team, “and then played good physical football, which I think is important.”
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed two-time Pro Bowl defensive end Derrick Burgess to replace injured rookie Brandon Graham.
Graham, the 13th overall pick in this year’s draft, tore his anterior cruciate ligament in Sunday night’s 30-27 win at Dallas.
