New Labor Contract For Stagehands, Ushers at Kimmel Center, Academy of Music

The union representing about a thousand theatre stagehands and other workers have reached a tentative contract deal with the Kimmel Center and its managed venues in center city Philadelphia.

Local Chapter Of IATSE Strikes, Kimmel, Academy, Merriam Shows Canceled

The local chapter of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees are striking and a Kimmel Center spokesperson says all of Saturday’s shows are canceled at the Kimmel Center, Merriam Theatre and the Academy of Music.
