From the shore to the Poconos, from Philly to the suburbs and northern Delaware, CBS3’s SummerFest will showcase towns and events from Memorial Day through Labor Day as Eyewitness News anchors its evening newscasts live from a different summer destination each week.

Ukee Washington  kicks off SummerFest this Friday, May 26 in Wildwood, New Jersey anchoring the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts on CBS 3 and The CW Philly’s 10 p.m. newscast live from the Boardwalk w Meteorologist Lauren Casey and feature reporter Vittoria Woodill. The station’s new Mobile Weather Watcher will also be on site delivering the latest weather information.

Woodill will preview the Wildwood appearance on Thursday, May 25 at 11p.m. with a special Taste With Tori segment profiling La Piazza Cucina Italiana, a 1950’s/’60’s supper club in Wildwood. Eyewitness News This Morning Reporter Pat Gallen will kick off CBS 3’s day in Wildwood Friday morning with a special behind-the-scenes look at Morey’s Pier.

Jessica Dean will continue the SummerFest series live from The Devon Horse Show and Craft Fair on Friday, June 2nd. Each week, Gallen and Woodill will explore what makes the towns such a special summer destination.
