The 36th Annual Blue Cross Broad Street Run Kicks Off

Is there transportation back to start area when the race is completed?
There are no shuttles back to the start area. However, public transportation is available on the SEPTA Broad Street Line Subway. One-way fare is two dollars ($2.00).
Runners (with bibs) can ride the Broad Street Line for free back to the start or to any stop along the line. For spectators, the one-way fare is $2.25.
Subway trains from Broad and Pattison (AT&T Station) will begin running at 5:30 a.m. Express trains will run continuously as soon as they become full. You should board at the Walnut/Locust stop if you are boarding from Center City.
Time is running out to register for the Broad Street Run lottery.
Last year, 40,000 people ran in the 35th annual Broad Street Run.
The race route runs from Broad and Somerville down to the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia, with a number of churches either on or near the route, some are changing their service schedules to accommodate the run.
