PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police say a woman was killed after she was pushed from a moving pickup truck and then struck by another vehicle.

It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday along the 3000 block of Frankford Avenue near Elkhart Street in Kensington.

A witness tells police that the victim, a woman in her 30’s, was riding as a passenger in a Ford F-150 when someone shoved her out of the truck. Police say the woman was immediately struck by a car that was travelling closely behind the truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are looking for the vehicles and drivers involved in the crash. Police say the truck is silver with ladder racks and has a tailgate missing. The car is described as a black Dodge Challenger.

Investigators are searching for any surveillance cameras in the area that may have captured the incident.
