GQ Names Colin Kaepernick 'Citizen Of Year'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Colin Kaepernick has been named the Citizen of the Year by GQ magazine.
Kaepernick controversially began kneeling during the National Anthem during the beginning of the 2016 NFL season. Now, Kaepernick is out of the league.
"The kneeling won't stop," GQ wrote. "The statements won't stop. What Kaepernick started will only grow."
Kaepernick, 30, tweeted that he is honored.
