Police Investigate Alleged Sex Assault Of 5-Year-Old Girl
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating an alleged sex assault of a young girl in Southwest Philadelphia.
Authorities were called around 2:15 a.m. Sunday to a home along the 5700 block of Warrington Avenue in the Kingsessing section the city.
Police say a 5-year-old girl was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for evaluation and treatment.
Investigators say a suspect was taken into custody.
There was no immediate word on charges.
