Police: 1 Hospitalized In Drive-By Shooting Near Temple's Health Sciences Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say there was a drive-by shooting near Temple University's Health Sciences Center in North Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Police, a 65-year-old man was shot in the stomach while sitting on his step on the 1200 block of West Tioga Street near the Health Sciences Center.

The victim was taken to Temple Hospital and is in stable condition.

The gun was recovered in an alleyway.

The university is asking people to use caution and avoid the area.

No arrests have been made.
