Runaway Mini Horse Causes Traffic Backup On Bethlehem Pike

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- A runaway mini horse caused a backup on the Bethlehem Pike in Springfield Township after escaping from its owners, Monday morning.

Springfield Township Police say a pregnant mini horse got out of a residence on Stenton Avenue and walked down Bethlehem Pike, shortly after 9 a.m.

The horse was on the loose for about 15 minutes until officers were able to corral the animal.

She was safely returned to her owners.
