Sheriff: 5 Killed In Orlando Workplace Shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/AP) — Five people were killed Monday in a workplace shooting in Orlando, Florida.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the gunman was an ex-employee who was fired in April. Authorities say the gunman, who has not yet been identified, killed himself.

Sheriff Jerry Demings said the gunman was involved in a previous workplace incident and was accused of battering another employee at the business.

Authorities said the situation is contained, meaning there is no longer an active shooter.

Shelley Adams said her sister, Sheila McIntyre, called her from the company’s bathroom during the shooting and was very upset.

She kept repeating “My boss is dead. My boss is dead,” Adams said after state and federal law enforcement authorities converged on the industrial park in Orlando.

Gov. Rick Scott said he had been briefed by law enforcement and that he and his wife, Ann, “are praying for the families who lost loved ones today.”

“I ask all Floridians to pray for the families impacted by this senseless act of violence,” he added.

  1. What was it trump was just saying about gun violence again?

Trump is a buffoon. He is the face of treason and betrayal, replacing Benedict Arnold in the history books, standing on the fully supportive shoulders of the GOP.

Trump supporters think he will build a wall, kick a bunch of brown people out, and most importantly, Make America “Great” Again. They hope he will get rid of Obamacare, which ironically, will hurt them the most. Under Obamacare, my pre-existing condition is insured. Before it, I struggled to make payments. Under the exchange, I pay just $200/month for health insurance. Also – My car insurance is down to $25/month (from Insurance Panda). My renters insurance is just $10/month. Under Trump, America will become too unaffordable to live in.

Trump is either a buffoon — not good — or in service of the Russians — same. His advisors and Congress need to stop enabling and apologizing for Trump’s treasonous behavior. Congress needs to commence impeachment proceedings.
