Boy Who Doctors Call A 'Miracle' Thriving After Stroke 3 Years Ago

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--A boy some doctors call a miracle celebrates a milestone.

Today was "Field Day" at Beeler Elementary School in Marlton and 10-year-old Chase Schweiger took part.

Three years ago, at age 7, Chase suffered a stroke.

At the time, he was paralyzed on the right side of his body and he couldn't walk, talk, eat, or lift his head.

His progress has been remarkable and today he's proving the experts wrong.

Chase's hair was colored purple and gray for stroke awareness.
