United Airlines Lifts Ground Stop

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- United Airlines lifted a ground stop on its domestic flights Sunday night after experiencing technical problems.

Airport officials said a ground stop was issued around 8 p.m. due to an "IT issue."

Around 9:00 p.m., United lifted the ground stop.

"The ground stop has been lifted. We're working to get flights on their way. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers," the airline tweeted.

Flights were impacted by this delay.

Philadelphia International Airport asked passengers to check with United regarding their flights.
