Train Route Threatens To Derail Chanel No. 5 Production In France

PARIS (CBS) -- A proposed train route is threatening to derail the production of Chanel No. 5.

Chanel says plans for a high-speed line would cut right through prized fields in Grasse, France where they grow flowers used in the famous perfume.

The new route is meant to ease traffic in the south of France.

Chanel is now pushing for an alternative route.
