2 Women Robbed At Gunpoint While Walking In Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Philadelphia Police are searching for a man they say pulled a gun on a woman and robbed her purse.

It happened Tuesday just before 6 p.m. in the 400 block of North 3rd Street.

Police say two women were walking north on 3rd Street when a man with a gun approached them from behind.

Surveillance video shows the suspect grab a woman's neck and point a gun at her head.

The second victim is able to flag down cars as the suspect flees with a woman's purse on  Callowhill Street.

The suspect is described as a black man, 20-30 years-of-age, 5'9", 150 lbs, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, dark colored shoes and armed with a black large framed handgun.

No injuries were reported in this incident.
