NJ Home Depot Employee Knocked Unconscious During Robbery Attempt

LAWNSIDE, N.J. (CBS) -- The Lawnside Police Department is looking for a man and two women wanted for a robbery at a Home Depot store on Friday. The incident took place at the store at 310 White Horse Pike around 11:00 a.m.

Authorities say a woman who worked at the store confronted the male robber and was knocked unconscious.

Police say the three individuals took multiple power tools. They say the man then entered the garden center of the store and started to cut a hole in the fence when he was confronted by the employee.

After rendering the woman unconscious, the man left the store with none of the items and the two women involved fled on foot.

The Home Depot employee was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The man was described as a Hispanic male between the heights 5'6" and 5'8" and between 150 and 180 pounds. He wore a light colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
