Powerball Ticket Worth $421M Sold In Tennessee; Pair Of $1M Winners In Pa.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's not a record jackpot, but someone broke the bank in Saturday night's Powerball lottery drawing.

The single lucky ticket worth $421-million was sold in Tennessee, officials said. It was one of the largest jackpots on record.

The winning numbers selected were 17, 19, 21, 37, 44, and the Powerball was 16.

The jackpot had been growing since September 17, the last time a ticket had matched all five white numbers and the red Powerball number.

No one had stepped up to claim the prize as of Sunday morning.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.

Closer to home, two tickets worth $1-million each, were sold in Pennsylvania. Those lucky winners matched all five white numbers, but not the red Powerball.

It wasn't immediately known where in the state the tickets were purchased.

The jackpot now resets to $40-million for the next drawing on Wednesday evening.
