The Eagles' Good, Bad & Ugly

By Joseph Santoliquito

SEATTLE, WA (CBS) — There was not much to like, much to dislike and a game that needs to be erased from everyone's memory banks after the Super Bowl-contending Seattle Seahawks beat the Eagles, 26-15, at CenturyLink Field on Sunday.

Seattle Steps On Eagles In 26-15 Setback

The Good

Tight end Zach Ertz's six catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Running back Wendell Smallwood's 48 yards rushing—and he was still playing hard when it seemed some of his teammates weren't.

Defensive tackle Bennie Logan blocking Steven Hauschka's extra point after Seattle's first score.

Receiver Dorial Green-Beckham's 5-yard touchdown reception from Carson Wentz in the fourth quarter—and five catches for 54 yards.

The Bad

Quarterback Carson Wentz's two interceptions. They serve as proof that he seems to be regressing more than progressing.

The Eagles two illegal shifts during critical moments.

Receiver Dorial Green-Beckham's pass interference call late in the fourth quarter. In fairness, Green-Beckham was one of the few bright spots aside from not realizing when the ball was thrown, which happened on this play.

Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox didn't make his presence known until the fourth quarter. He's being paid like a super star. He's hardly shown that after a great September.

The Ugly

Receiver Nelson Agholor may be a permanent fixture in this place. First, he lined up illegally with 5:57 left in the second quarter that nullified a 57-yard touchdown pass from Carson Wentz to Zach Ertz. Then, on the Eagles next possession, Agholor dropped a Wentz pass while wide open down the middle of the field. He's not just been awful this game, he's been awful this season, between the drops, the inane choices on the field and his delusional arrogance.

Rookie cornerback Jalen Mills whiffing on C.J. Prosise's 72-yard touchdown run with 11:02 left in the fourth quarter.
