3 Suspects Fired 18 Shots On Man Sitting In Parked Car, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Three suspects are being sought after a man is gunned down in his vehicle on Wednesday night.

It happened around 10 p.m. in the 3600 block of N. Marvine Street in Philadelphia.

Authorities tell CBS 3 that three men fired at least 18 shots on 22-year-old Breion Wallace sitting inside his 2003 silver Hyundai Accent suffering that was parked next to the playground. Seven of the bullets entered the vehicle.

Police say they found Wallace shot in the head and back. He was transported to Temple Hospital where he was later died.

The shooters are described as wearing dark hooded sweat shirts.

Police believe there were two different caliber guns used in the shooting.
