Hiker, Heartbroken Over Election Result, Bumps Into Hillary Clinton

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. (CBS) -- Sometimes, the best thing you can do when you're upset is go for a walk. That is what Margot Gerster was up to as she did some hiking in Chappaqua.

Gerster has felt heartbroken since the end of the election when Donald Trump, became President-Elect Donald Trump. While out hiking, she just so happened to bump into someone else who was probably quite upset herself.

She bumped into Hillary Clinton.

Gerster posted about the encounter on Facebook. The hiking trip was a way for Gerster and her girls to relax and as they were leaving, she said she heard a rustling. She checked in the direction of the sound and there was Hillary and Bill Clinton out with their dogs.

Gerster said that she spent time talking with Clinton and admitted to her that one of her proudest moments of motherhood, was taking her daughter with her when she voted for Clinton.

At the end of her post, Gerster wrote, "I'm not one for signs, but I think I'll definitely take this one."
