Malcolm Jenkins: 'We Have To Understand How We Win'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Before the season started, Malcolm Jenkins explained the Eagles' identity.

Play good defense and special teams, control the ball, and be "opportunistic" on offense.

On Sunday, in a 28-23 loss to the Giants, Carson Wentz threw the ball 47 times getting picked off twice. Doug Pederson elected to go for it on fourth down twice in the red zone, failing on both tries and passing on three points each time.

Jenkins questioned the decision making after the loss.

"We have to understand as a team, how we win," Jenkins told reporters. "It's when our offense is very, very patient. They don't mind punting the ball. They'll take three points and eventually they get a drive that goes for a touchdown.

"We're not going to win ballgames like this being overly aggressive offensively and giving the ball away. We can't be turning the ball over."
