PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- About 50,000 runners competed in Sunday's 46th annual New York City Marathon.
Ghirmay Ghebreslassie, from Eritrea, won the 26.2 mile race in 2 hours, 7 minutes and 51 seconds. At 20-years-old, he became the youngest male champion and the third fastest runner ever.
Thousands of folks and plenty of celebrities took to social media to discuss the event.
