What To Look For Sunday In Eagles/Giants

by Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles will play a critical game on Sunday as they take to the road to visit the New York Giants.

Both teams are 4-3, and this is a critical game for the Birds who are coming off that overtime loss to Dallas last week.

The Eagles are 0-2 in NFC East action and can not afford another loss in division play.

The Giants are coming off a bye week and this will actually be the third straight opponent the Eagles will face that is coming off a week off (Vikings, Cowboys).

The Eagles will be missing a starter along the offensive line. Guard Allen Barbre (hamstring) has been ruled out for this game. Veteran Stefen Wisniewski is expected to take over in his absence.

Defensive tackle Bennie Logan, who has missed the last couple of games with a groin injury, is officially listed as questionable.

Eagles have enjoyed a lot of success against the Giants as of late. Philadelphia has won the last four match-ups between these two rivals and 13 of the last 16 (including a playoff victory).

KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Brandon Lee Gowton of Philadelphia Magazine's "Birds 24/7" and BGN Radio to break this one down:
