Nelson Agholor: Placing Blame On Drops Is 'Stupid'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Nelson Agholor has become public enemy number one for Eagles fans.

In the Eagles' 29-23 overtime loss to the Cowboys, the Eagles dropped six of Carson Wentz's incompletions. Agholor, who played 71 out of 78 snaps in the game, egregiously dropped the first of his four targets -- a potential 3rd-down red zone conversion forcing the Eagles to settle for a field goal. After the game, he went off on a rant.

"I don't look at no drops, none of that type [expletive]. I'm tired of hearing that [expletive]," Agholor said after the game. "That's just stupid. We play football. I dropped the first one, I ain't drop one after that. What does it matter? 'Cause if we lose, now you want to place blame on, 'Oh, this person did this.' No."

The 2015 first-round draft pick has just 21 catches in seven games this season for 216 yards and one touchdown. As a rookie, Agholor caught just 23 balls for 283 yards and one score.
