Yee Haw! Police Round Up Gang Of Horses That Escaped From Bucks County Farm

NEWTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- On most days, police chase bad guys, but sometimes they chase...horses.

Yee Haw! Police in Upper Makefield Township transformed into cowboys Friday night and rounded up a gang of Appaloosa horses that was wandering along 300 block of Stoneybrook Road in Newtown, Bucks County.

According to police, the animals had escaped from nearby Thorpe Farm around 9 p.m. and were just "horsing around."

Eventually they were safely corralled and will now, as police put it, "be doing time in the pen."
