Toomey, McGinty Return To Debate Stage For Final Showdown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The two candidates for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania return to the debate stage in Philadelphia tonight for their final showdown ahead of the November election.

It was a week ago that incumbent Republican Sen. Pat Toomey and Democratic challenger Katie McGinty battled over the issues during a Pittsburgh forum.

Tonight, they're here in this region for a televised debate.

And, it's expected the state of the presidential race will figure prominently in some of the discussion as it did a week ago.

McGinty: "The Senator is the only person in the United States of America who has not leveled with his constituents on the simple question: Are you voting for Donald Trump?"

Toomey insists he still hasn't made up his mind on Trump, but will do so soon and he'll let his supporters know.

He says even a flawed Trump is better than Clinton.

"If he were president, he'd probably sign legislation that would be constructive likely repealing of Obamacare and restoring sanctions on Iran."
