The Eagles' Good, Bad & Ugly

By Joseph Santoliquito

PHILADELPHIA, PA (CBS) — There were a lot of things to like, some things to dislike and some areas that make you pull your hair our of head in the Eagles' 21-10 victory over the previously undefeated Minnesota Vikings at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.

The Good

Defensive end Connor Barwin came out from under the shadows with four tackles, including a key sack early in the game that led to a forced fumble after the Vikings had recovered an Eagles fumble.

Defensive end Brandon Graham pressured Sam Bradford into making a costly first-quarter interception in the end zone. Graham finished with a sack and five quarterback hurries.

Defensive tackle Beau Allen had a sack including a vital fumble recovery.

Running back Ryan Mathews ran for a game-high 56 yards on 20 carries.

Tight end Trey Burton's fumble recovery on a punt early in the fourth quarter. It was Minnesota's fourth turnover.

The Bad

Center Jason Kelce has had his problems this year. The false start penalty on the Eagles fifth possession at the outset of the second quarter stunted what was the Birds best drive to that point. He also seemed to have a problem getting off good consistent snaps to Carson Wentz.

The Ugly

Drops continue to kill this team. Dorial Green-Beckham dropped a pass and Trey Burton flubbed another that hit him in the hands in the second quarter. The drops could spell bigger problems when the Eagles face a playoff contender—like Dallas.
