The first half didn’t exactly go as the Eagles hoped it would in Detroit. The Lions were able to shred the defense for three touchdowns, while the Eagles offense hurt itself with a bunch of penalties. The team went into the half down 21-10, their first halftime deficit of the season.
Coming out of the halftime break, the offense started to find its groove, helped by this insane catch from second-year wide receiver Nelson Agholor.
Agholor just ripped that ball out of the air over the head of corner Nevin Lawson. The Eagles would go on to score a touchdown on a quick pass to Josh Huff to cut the score to 21-17. Wentz was a perfect 5-5 on the drive.
