Central Pennsylvania Convenience Store First To Sell Wine

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Sheetz store in central Pennsylvania will become the first convenience store in the state to sell wine.

That will happen later Tuesday morning at the store on East King Street in Shippensburg.

The store, and others soon to follow, are being allowed to sell wine under a law passed in June meant to broaden the number and type of private businesses that can sell beer, wine and liquor.
